    Job Summary

The Communications and Engagement Team at NHS Kent and Medway has a crucial role in supporting the integrated care board and coordinating activities in a care system serving 1.9 million people, one of the largest in England.

    As part of our corporate function, you will oversee and implement internal and external communications, engaging our workforce and external stakeholders while building trust in the NHS.

    Your responsibilities will include managing communication channels like websites, intranet, social media, and digital newsletters, as well as participating in stakeholder management and event coordination with the projects team.

    Main Duties of the Job

    • Support the development of the organization's core narrative and key campaigns, handle media activities, and drive employee engagement and brand management.
    • Develop staff communication and engagement strategies and action plans.
    • Offer communication and engagement advice to ensure meeting statutory requirements.
    • Create high-quality presentations, reports, surveys, and research tools.
    • Engage with stakeholders, promote patient experience, and support staff inclusion in communication projects.
    • Manage projects, software use, and budget requirements effectively.
    • Communicate clearly with excellent writing and presentation skills.
