    The role

    As the ITV Google Cloud Product Owner, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing our Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring seamless operations, robust security measures, and efficient resource usage. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your skills to ensure our Google cloud remains safe, reliable and cost efficient.

    The role will entail but not be limited to:

  • Define and deliver a 2024 plan to enhance the existing ITV Google Cloud platform and uplift GCP foundational services including orchestration, observability, security and systems management
  • Establish and oversee governance arrangements to ensure the google cloud platform is run securely, reliably and efficiently
  • Conduct audits and assessments of GCP projects and work with teams to ensure good practice
  • Work closely with ITV Cyber Security teams to iterate and implement Guardrails and policy
  • Manage Google Cloud stakeholders, ensuring ITV's Google Cloud platform continues to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors, including Google. Evaluate performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and service level agreements
  • Implement processes and tooling for cloud financial management
  • Develop Google Cloud Platform service management processes, including incident and problem management
  • Report on Google Cloud service delivery and effectiveness
  • Manage Google Cloud stakeholders, ensuring ITV's Google Cloud platform continues to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Maintain service documentation, including configurations and procedures
  • Oversee the GCP organisational hierarchy, billing accounts and the assignment of billing
  • Support Cloud Architecture reviews and provide feedback and guidance on the vision and direction of Google Cloud

    • Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Extensive project or product delivery experience with significant Google Cloud experience.
  • Comfortable working with the Google Cloud console and the command-line interface to perform basic GCP administration tasks
  • Trained and experienced in agile delivery methodologies Cloud Governance Experience
  • Experience building relationships with Internal and External stakeholders including supplier management - ideally Google
