    Description

    I am working with a superb organisation who are a leading company comparison organisation in the UK. The data and work is very interesting and there's some pioneering initiatives going on. the people I have placed there to date are really enjoying it

    They are looking for someone to join, lead and manage their Azure Programme. The role is paying circa 80K and there is one or two days a week on-site, based on Fleet street, London

    Main duties and responsibilities:


    • Embrace a forward-thinking approach to data. Advocate, educate, and drive innovation.


    • Prioritize and manage all Data & Business Intelligence (BI) demands, balancing business advantages, technological requirements, and complexity/risk considerations to attain objectives. Contribute to the overarching data strategy and vision.


    • Assume responsibility for overseeing the entire lifecycle of data platform enhancements and transformations. Strategize and implement plans within set timelines. Skilfully navigate dependencies, risks, issues, and resource allocation (both internal and external), proactively seeking solutions to challenges.


    • Conduct thorough analysis of data sources to identify gaps and uphold quality standards.


    • Consistently deliver a stream of high-quality requirements (including epics and stories) with well-defined acceptance criteria in a timely manner.

    Tech spec (this however is not a technical role, we are looking for an understanding oft the below):

    3 years+ as a data business partner / manager / product owner / data analyst or technical business analyst in a data platform domain

    Be an experienced subject matter expert within the data platform domain, with some knowledge of:

    PowerBI, Data lakes, data marts, data warehousing (Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, HD Insight)

    SQL, NoSQL and Graph databases
