    We're Commercial Clients East of England; a highly engaged and energetic team providing Relationship Management to a portfolio of Santander Corporate & Commercial Banking clients.

    As well as providing a high level of support to our existing clients, we're focused on winning exciting new clients (turnover up to £m), that will develop into the Corporate Clients of the future. Our track record in delivering on this vision is widely recognised.

    Through a combination of sustained tenacity, talent, and experience, we always deliver a balanced scorecard. The region continues to excel across the core measures of, high value new to bank switchers, lending, deposits and international.

    We pride ourselves on the level of service that we offer to those clients that we have won, aiming not just to retain their business but to grow with them and to turn them in to advocates, who will then themselves introduce new clients, from across their network.

  • Driving a proactive and collaborative environment across CCB
  • Delivering sustainable growth in prime, active, clients by building existing client loyalty and identifying and winning opportunities to bring new high value clients to the Bank
  • Delivering high levels of activity across prospects, existing clients and KBIs
  • Progressing our ambition to transform Commercial Clients into a 'Digital Bank with a Human Touch'
  • Driving high levels of client insight and creating advocates of the Corporate Bank through your portfolio and wider network (responses from % of managed portfolio with min NPS % and Relationship Director Satisfaction of > %)
  • Embedding a strong risk culture, with conduct and stewardship well within CCBs risk compliance guidelines

    • What you'll bring:

  • Experience of developing and driving a regional business development strategy, to deliver the Corporate Banks ambitious growth, through existing client network and intermediaries
  • High level of credit underwriting skills and comprehensive knowledge of both account opening process, as well as how to onboard customers and manage their linked financial crime risk

  • A clear understanding of new Consumer Duty requirements for the benefit of our clients
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce and Ncino, with a track record of delivering right first-time processing

    Our preferred location for this role is Leicester, and you will be expected to spend two days per month of your time in this office. We would also encourage you to apply if you are in a reasonable travel distance of Milton Keynes where our current expectation is at least days in the office every week.
