    Forklift Field Service Engineer - Spitalfields, Greater London

    Competitive Salary + O/T + Door to Door Pay + Company Van + Holidays + Pension

    Dawsongroup | material handling is part of the UK's largest Asset Rental company and leading provider of material handling equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Forklift Service Engineer to join our progressive team in the Greater London area.

    With a commitment to excellence and a strong reputation in the industry, we are looking for a talented individual to contribute to our success in delivering first-class forklift services.

    As a Field Forklift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance, repair, and servicing of a variety of forklifts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in forklifts at client locations.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections to ensure forklifts are operating at peak efficiency.
  • Executing repairs and replacements of faulty components and parts on-site.
  • Collaborating closely with clients to understand and address specific forklift service requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service records.
  • Offering technical assistance and guidance to clients on forklift operation and maintenance best practices.

    • To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience working within the Automotive or Forklift industry in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from having experience of working on all aspects of forklift trucks, IC Engines, brake systems, hydraulics and electrics.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field service capacity.
  • A valid driver's license.
