Senior Project Manager – Engineering R&D
Weston-super-Mare
£55,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with the vision and experience to revolutionise their approach to delivering projects on time and with exceptional quality.

About the opportunity:

Spearhead the development of a project management framework, establish new policies, procedures, and implement cutting-edge tools.

Collaboration is Key:
Partner with technical and engineering teams to deliver complex projects, ensuring optimal resourcing and seamless delivery.

Data-Driven Approach:
Design a system where project management and financial tools integrate, providing complete transparency and actionable insights.

Leadership Excellence:
Possess the gravitas and ability to inspire and guide in a collaborative environment. Your patience and subtle change management approach will be essential.

Sense of Humour:
We're looking for someone who is a top-notch professional but who also doesn't take themselves too seriously

The ideal candidate:

Proven Track Record:
Demonstrable experience in successfully setting up project management structures within similar environments.

Technical Understanding:
Solid grasp of engineering R&D concepts and the ability to understand the nuanced needs of engineers.

SC Cleared:
Currently hold valid SC clearance with eligibility for DV clearance.

Communication Master:
Excel at simplifying complex information and tailor your message to a technical audience.

Nice to have:

Experience with a recognised methodology such as Prince2, APM or MSP is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
