    Bring your writing talent and LGBTQ+ knowledge to life on social media As our Content Creator, craft engaging posts to resonate with queer communities across platforms We just celebrated the 51st Pride March in London, which provides a rich legacy to continue building upon.

    We stand as a beacon to highlight ongoing challenges within the LGBTQ+ community, even amidst progress. Our incredible team is a blend of passionate staff and volunteers who champion diversity, inclusivity, and understanding. We hail from diverse walks of life, forming a vibrant community of change-makers.

    With a diverse and dedicated year-round team of around 150 volunteers, we orchestrate Pride in London, the incredible event that unites us all.

    Pride in London stands committed to truly representing every facet of our community. We celebrate equality, diversity, and inclusion.

    Our focus is on enriching the diversity of our volunteers, ensuring that Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Disabled, Trans, and all communities are vividly reflected within our teams.

    Pride In London is seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Social Media & Content Strategy to redefine our digital presence.

    From Facebook to TikTok, LinkedIn to Instagram, our eclectic mix of channels isn't just a part of what we do – it's our vibrant heartbeat.

    Create engaging and informative LGBTQ+ content for Pride in London's social media platforms
    Research relevant topics and trends to ensure informative, accurate content
    Edit and proofread all content for grammar, tone, and Pride in London brand voice
    Manage multiple content projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
    Stay up-to-date on best practices in LGBTQ+ content creation and digital marketing
    Excellent writing and copy editing skills with sharp attention to detail
    Strong understanding of different social media platforms and content strategies
    Knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues and content that resonates with queer communities
    Proficiency in graphic design, photo/video editing preferred
    Passion for advancing LGBTQ+ visibility and community building through digital content

    Our volunteer team is more than amazing – they inspire great ideas, generate needed sponsorship, drive forward our operational plans, capture Pride moments and help make Pride in London a fantastic place to volunteer and work.

    We endeavour to attract and recruit a diverse mix of employees and volunteers who are representative of the diversity in our LGBT+ communities which gives us a great opportunity to have access to a broad range of ideas and allows us to deliver an inclusive event that you expect from Pride in London.

    Therefore, we actively encourage applications from diverse backgrounds, particularly women, people of colour and those from the trans and non-binary communities.

    Putting on one of London's largest one-day events requires dedication and perseverance.

    Although a lot of our work is completed remotely, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet with your team and others throughout the year to not only plan what's ahead but to socialise too.

    We're looking for enthusiastic people to join the organisation so we can provide a platform for every part of London's LGBT+ community.

    Pride in London is run in majorityby a group of volunteers who are passionate about equality and diversity.

    We are a not-for-profit organisation, and any surplus funds we raise are used to support the LGBT+ communities and improve the event.
