    Description
    SEND Audit & Quality Assurance Officer
    6-month interim contract to start April 2024
    per day (Approx £50 per hour)
    Remote/ Hybrid working (2 days a week on site desirable)


    Reporting into the Head of Service to design, develop, deliver and implement an audit and quality assurance programme for SEND within Childrens Services, ensuring that the themes that emerge are fully reflected in learning and development programmes.

    Support the improvement plan in delivering, maintaining and scrutinising measurable improvements in quality across Childrens Social Care and Education (SEND).


    Your Role as SEND Audit &

    Quality Assurance Officer:


    Aggregate and disseminate the findings of audits on a regular basis across the service so as to maximise the learning opportunities for all staff.

    Contribute to the quality assurance programme regarding SEND across Childrens Services

    Provide the Head of Service for Quality Assurance and Head of Service for SEND with clear measurable and analytical practice outcomes across Children's Services.

    Identify, plan and carry out periodic audits.

    Your previous experience as SEND Audit &

    Quality Assurance Officer:
    In-depth experience at in respect of quality assurance and performance within Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities
    Broad and deep experience of SEND Service Delivery and Quality Standards

    • Must demonstrate a proven track record within a similar capacity in a Local Authority setting
