    We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join the Directorate of Maternity within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

    The Maternity Service at Imperial College Healthcare Trust is one of the largest services in the UK providing tertiary Maternity services across two hospital sites; Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital and St Mary's Hospital.

    The service provides antenatal services across both sites and also in the community. Postnatal services are provided within the children centres in the community. The Directorate also supports pre-pregnancy planning, parent education and breast feeding post birth.

    The post holder will work alongside their management colleagues and lead consultants and nurses for the specialist services they are responsible for.

    Overseeing the administrative functions within the department, and ensuring all key performance targets are met, and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to.


    • Be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate data is available, analysed and presented to support business decision making, forging the gap between financial and business management.
    • Lead on the project management of the cost reduction programmes and organisational change.

    Recognised management qualification at postgraduate level and/or experience
    Completion of project management skills course, e.g. Relevant postgraduate qualification

    At least two years' experience at AFC band 7 or above
    Track record of success in delivering change and project management
    Well-developed business planning and marketing skills
    Ability to analyse and effectively present performance data and identify areas for improvement
    Ability to co-ordinate and investigate complaints, including experience of dealing with distressed patients / relatives / staff.

    Please note it is an operational requirement to comply with infection prevention and control procedures within NWLP such as lateral flow testing, handwashing and the wearing of masks, according to the procedures in place at any time or location.
