    IT Support Technician - Level 3 Apprenticeship

    £14,500 per annum w/ overtime pay

    Hours:

    Monday to Friday / 8:30am to 5:30pm

    Responsibilities include:

    1. Provide customers with the best support experience possible.
    2. 1st Line support for Infrastructure tickets such as workstation, networking, and security.
    3. Daily, Weekly and Monthly Checks
    4. Work in order of SLA's
    5. Installation of Workstation hardware and software
    6. New client onboarding tasks such as Workstation software deployment

    Targets:

    • Tickets closed per week => 48
    • Average Ticket Age < 3
    • Hours logged - => 26

    Working as a Modern Apprentice in 1st Line Infrastructure from their smart modern offices with breakout and recreational areas including a pool table, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is customer-focused, technical and has excellent communication skills looking to further their career and thrive in an enjoyable working environment.     As part of their dedicated Services Desk, the Apprentice will work closely with the team supporting and helping clients succeed through technology. As first-line support, you will be the first point of contact, providing exceptional telephone and remote support and if necessary, an onsite response. Due to the fast pace of a 1st line team, we require 1st line engineers to work from the office 5 days a week

    Training to be Provided

    The Information Communications Technician makes their contribution through the application of infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.

    An Information Communications Technician (ICT) provides support to internal and/or external customers, by using tools or systems to problem solve and troubleshoot routine and non-routine problems. This occupation supports clients/customers with their systems. They achieve this through monitoring and maintaining the systems and/or platforms to maximize productivity and user experience.

    There are 3 pathways within this Apprenticeship which include:

    • A Support Technician
    • A Network Technician
    • A Digital Communications Technician

    As a result, you will achieve:

    • Level 3 Information Communications Technician
    • Functional Skills in Maths and English (if required)
