    The Role:

    The Business Services Team Leader will guide, monitor performance and lead your team of direct reports as well as inspiring positive communication within them so that they can work together toward achieving goals. Work with the Business Services Manager ensuring customer service is measured by increased client/customer satisfaction, reduced complaints/executive escalations.

    Main duties and responsibilities

    • Monitor workloads and capacity across teams to Improve productivity as measured by tasks assigned / completed
    • Amazon Hub - this role is a player/manager role. As well as leading a small team, you will implement work and maintain much of the day-to-day activities associated with the front end of the Hub account and associated data etc
    • Monthly 1-2-1 catchups with team members to discuss challenges and successes – ensure that the team member notes these in Workday
    • Regular team meetings to cascade information, to include TL leader cascade pack and to report business changes/updates
    • Explain roles and responsibilities and processes to follow
    • Identify any training requirements and growth requirements
    • Encourage, motivate and train on activities/tasks to improve performance
    • Monthly Report – provide operational, colleague, highlight info to Business Services Manager
    • Be available for wellbeing discussions
    • Engagement to improve/maintain morale
    • Manage sickness absence, reporting to CR, if necessary, to get support and advice
    • Manage holiday absence to ensure cover at all times
    • Look to increase and maintain colleague engagement levels
    • Reward good behaviours

    Tasks within the team

    • New claim input – monitor claims and ensure client SLAs are adhered to
    • Acknowledge claims for certain clients as a priority
    • Monitor the customer journey
    • Submit client fee bdx
    • Amazon Hub activities – new claims, closure of claims, submission of fee bdx
    • MoJ portal management – assist with portal administration
    • Management Information – operational/team and potential client MI. Ensure reports are issued on time

    General work management

    • Work closely with the operational teams to ensure processes are understood and followed
    • Preparation of data reports to provide Liability Adjusters with the tools to manage their workloads
    • Investigate workloads and task monitoring
    • Monitor task management across the team, particularly overdue
    • Ensure adherence to client SLAs – specifically acknowledgements to various parties and new claim input
    • Identify changes in work volumes and offer solutions
    • Check and monitor inbox each day and allocate to appropriate team member.
    • Darwin OneTrust requests – assist operational managers with submission of OneTrust reviews
    • Manage the demands of numerous tasks

    May be required to do

    • MI production and building of BO reports.
    • Assist with client onboarding.
    • Willing to undertake further training to fulfil the requirements of the role.
    • Data cleansing activities
    • Travel to offices for meetings
