    Description
    Have full autonomy to shape and develop a procurement function

    They continue to show year on year growth, but need to develop their approach to procurement to sustain their current success.

    As well as delivering a world class product, the company has a real passion for sustainability. Lead and manage the procurement a department in the Cheshire operation
    Develop and implement procurement strategies and embed processes to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness
    Conduct contract negotiations to secure favourable terms and mitigate risk (contractual liabilities)
    Monitor supplier performance to ensure contractual obligations are met
    Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and manage long lead time components / fabrications
    Ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive towards full sustainability accreditation
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
    A successful Procurement Manager should have:
    A passion for sustainability, and the positive impact a proactive procurement functions can have in driving this
    Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills
    Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and systems
    Flexible working environment
