    Job Title:
    Senior Service Manager

    Hours:
    Full-time, 35 hours per week
    Circa £32,000 per annum (additional pay for out-of-hour shifts)
    Benefits: 45p per mile for travel costs

    We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Senior Service Manager to become an integral part of our client's team, taking charge of guiding the strategic vision, operational excellence, and ongoing enhancement of all our services aimed at assisting clients and unpaid carers within the Surrey region.

    Oversee service provision and optimize resources for effective delivery.


    • Lead and support a team of care professionals.
    • Ensure sector-wide compliance with Training and Compliance Manager.
    • Attend weekly 'in-office' days for operational management.
    • Provide performance reports to Head of Care Operations.
    • Lead recruitment of Service Managers and care staff.
    • Represent organization at networking events.
    • Resolve field staff pay and invoice queries.
    • Prior experience in line management, preferably within a care environment, including scheduling and conducting observations and supervisions.
    • Happy to start a NVQ level 3 and/or Level 5 in Health and social care in the first 3 months of starting, all funded by the client.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel) with a willingness to learn new digital platforms.
    • Familiarity with formal processes such as disciplinary or absence management.
    • Skill in fostering positive relationships with team members, carers, and individuals requiring care and support, while maintaining professional boundaries.
    • Commitment to adhering to policies, procedures, and relevant guidelines.
    • Demonstrated respect and dignity toward adults and children in need of care and support.
