    Our client, a leading internationalmanufacturer, is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilitiesand Manager to join their growing team on a permanent contract,based in Birmingham.


    As the Facilities Manageryou will be required to plan and coordinate specific sitemaintenance contracts and any remedial actions arising from theundertaking of the work, which will include the maintenance of theinfrastructure of the site using SAP to request and justify anyadditional maintenance request.


    Dutiesinclude:

    • Responsible for statutory requirements forfire safety and loss prevention. This will require involvement infire pump performance testing, sprinkler weekly belltesting,
    zoned fire alarm system service contract,extinguisher gas systems, and monthly risk
    assessmentarea checks and to be the responsible person for fire safetyadvisory and
    competence on site.

    • Inconjunction with the Engineering Manager and Purchasing be involvedin negotiating
    the technical content of the site servicecontracts.

    • Using SAP to coordinate service contractWO's and POs for the following and to carry out any remedialactions as necessary.
    • Manage the backlog of workgenerated from Audits.
    • Be available to provide supporton planned shutdowns, supervising and carrying outkey
    tasks as necessary.

    • If of an ElectricalDiscipline, to be able to support HV work, any necessary electricalshut works, Isolations, permits, and contractorcontrol.
    • To support Engineering Works identified by theutilities team
    • Tank inspections and documentation ofreports and any necessary rectification works.

    What we are looking for:

    • Experience in Large industry manufacturing.
    • Level 3Engineering Qualification.
    • Full knowledge oflegislative and compliance essentials of carrying out a sitefacilities manager role.
    • Previous experience inmanaging compliance and legislation.
    • A fullytimeserved engineer with practical and management experience. (Infacilities management).
    • Resilient Manager, withexperience in dealing with conflicting priorities.
    • Able to plan and coordinate multiple tasks.
