    Head of Humanities Large AcademyChain

    We are proud to partner with a highlyregarded Large Academy Chain in Croydon South London to recruit aninspiring and experienced Head ofHumanities. In this pivotal leadership role you willhave the opportunity to shape the direction of the Humanitiesdepartment specializing in either Geography History or ReligiousEducation.

    About theRole:

    • Lead a dedicatedteam of Humanities teachers fostering a collaborative andsupportive learning environment.
    • Develop andimplement a stimulating and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4aligned with the National Curriculum.
    • Motivateand inspire students nurturing their passion for your specialistsubject (Geography History or RE).
    • Conductregular assessments monitor student progress and implementeffective strategies to ensure academicsuccess.
    • Oversee departmental resources andbudget ensuring efficient utilization.
    • Play akey role in departmental development seeking innovative approachesto enhance teaching and learning.
    • Contribute tothe wider school community collaborating with colleagues acrossdifferentdepartments.

    AboutYou:

    • A qualified andexperienced teacher with a proven track record of success in asimilar leadership role.
    • A specialist inGeography History or Religious Education with a deep passion foryour subject.
    • Excellent leadership skills withthe ability to motivate and inspire a team ofteachers.
    • Strong communication andinterpersonal skills fostering positive relationships with staffstudents and parents.
    • A commitment tocontinuous professional development and a willingness to share bestpractices.
