    Client snapshot:An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.Vacancy Brief:

    • My client is looking for a Head of Assets and Compliance; this is a permanent opportunity.
    • A full-time role, it is 37.5 hours per week.
    • Based in Birmingham.
    • Salary for this role is £65,000 – £67,500 per annum (plus £3,500 Car Allowance)

    The Responsibilities:

    • As a Supported Housing Manager, you will manage and lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high quality, effective supported housing services and housing management services to a range of service user groups (including those on Bail, prison leavers and those going through the criminal justice system) that meet their needs, contractual requirements, and organisational financial targets.
    • As a Head of Assets and Compliance, you will have experience in the production and delivery of asset management strategies and a comprehensive understanding of component cycles and the setting of 30-year investment programmes.
    • In your job role as a Head of Assets, you will have experience and expertise in preparing and presenting Executive level reports relating to asset management and compliance.
    • Part of your asset management experience, you would have managed significant budgets and developed long-term financial investment forecasts, cost modelling, and completed asset appraisals across a portfolio.
    • Part of your skill set, you can effectively analyse data to make investment decisions, maintain asset compliance and manage organisational performance.
    • In this job role, you will be required to have comprehensive knowledge of building and safety legislation, standards, and best practice relating to Social Housing.
    • You will need to bring forth a proven track record of undertaking larger procurement projects and overseeing the performance of contractors across an organisation.
    • Furthermore, the ideal candidate will need to hold a degree or professional qualification in a related subject and membership of a professional body e.g. CIOB, RICS, IOSH
