    Description
    My client is a small but established Financial Services provider based in Birmingham.

    Due to the continued success of the organisation and expansion of the Compliance team they are currently recruiting for a Compliance Manager.

    Reporting the the Head of Compliance your main responsibilities will include;Responsibilities:

    • Supervision of 2 staff
    • Responsible for the compliance dashboard
    • To take the lead on regulatory approvals
    • Ensure that periodic regulatory returns are complete in an accurate and timely manner
    • To own the compliance monitoring projects
    • To assist the Head of Compliance in the review of regulatory publications
    • Collaborate with Stakeholders and assist the Head of Compliance in preparation for the Risk and Compliance Committee meetings
    • Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory updates via training
    • Take lead on investigating, reviewing and the creation of a final response in terms of FOS complaints
    • Take the lead on the review and update of compliance process documentation and how to guides
    • Provide regular 1-2-1 and follow up meetings with my direct reports.
    • Operates within defined risk appetite levels, and within the context of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF)
    • Ensure compliance with the company health and safety rules and requirements
    • At all times, ensure that customers are put first in everything we doYou will be a Compliance professional with a minimum of 3 years experience. Insurance experience is desirable although not essential. My client offers an attractive salary and benefits package.
      Remote/Hybrid working - 1-2 days a month in the office
