Harpenden Child Contact Centre facilitates contact between children and their parents from whom they are separated often following family breakdown.Detailed description
Harpenden Child Contact Centre is a small charity whose purpose is to facilitate and support contact between children and their parents and sometimes other family members from whom they are separated often due to family breakdown.Though based in Harpenden, HCCC also supports families from further afield.
Contact sessions take place twice a month on a Saturday afternoon in All Saints Church Hall, Harpenden.
As a result of the forthcoming retirement of the Co-ordinator, HCCC now seeks a replacement. This is a highly rewarding position and provides an opportunity for you to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families.
The successful applicant will work alongside a team of experienced volunteers, managing the day to day operation of the Centre. The key responsibilities are to provide good leadership to the team ofvolunteers and an effective service for families enabling non-resident parents to have contact with their child(ren) in a safe environment.
The successful candidate will be committed and supportive of the vision, value and work of Harpenden Child Contact Centre.
