    daily rate:
    up to £530 outside IR35

    Location:
    hybrid; 3days/w in London


    The Operations Manager will be responsible for:
    Generate, maintain and manage the Operations Tracker (High Level Programme Plan)
    Chair the team meetings to review and update the HLPP
    Engage with the Joint Management Board (JMB) for regular reporting and out of committee decisions
    Work with all relevant stakeholders to collate information for Invitation to Tender artefacts and progress each stage of the procurement process
    Take the lead for management of the delivery of all contracts to include, generation of the Service Delivery Instruction, support to the Commercial Manager to set up Contracts, Purchasing and Finance (CP&F), Supplier engagement and the day-to-day management of stakeholders in UK and overseas to set the conditions for success
    Generate and maintain promotional material
    Generate and maintain a Stakeholder Map
    Manage the team diary the proposed work programme
    Identify, document and implement improvement suggestions for more effective ways of working


    Mandatory Skills Required:
    Must hold Government Security clearance to DV level
    Must have Knowledge, Skills and Experience (KSE) in Defence and Security
    Must be experienced in working with, and have a knowledge of, government procurement frameworks, including financial management
    Must be experienced and competent in identifying what documents are required in the UK MOD, generating them to a high standard and securing sign off
    Must have KSE with UK MOD structures, policy, staffing processes and Defence writing
    Project management skills utilising Agile and Waterfall methodologies

    Experience of Governance frameworks
    Strategic planning
    Customer/Supplier Relationship Management
    Resource Management
    Financial Management
