- Maintain regular client visits and contact
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and identify potential clients
- Identify key areas for business expansion in line with the business growth strategy
- Prepare and roll out a business development plan for strategic projects
- Pull the opportunities identified into active tenders
- Ensure the tender information is distributed to relevant departments
- Collate and update tender documents ready for submission
- Create margin sheets on base costs and proposed selling rates for review
- Collaborate with Manager and Proposals and Tender Manager
- Weekly Activity Report: Summary of weekly activities, including client Visits/Meetings and progress on business development
- Market Trends Report: Analysis of market trends, competitors and industry developments
- Market Trends, Customer Management Report, Business Development Progress Report, Financial Performance Report, Business Analytics Report, Strategic Planning Report.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing corporate team to align commercial strategies with technical capabilities
- Ensure a level of Technical Understanding to enhance sales presentations and proposals
- collaborate in line with the Business Development vision for the region/group
- Craft documentation for impactful marketing and maintain dynamic sales literature
- Enhance the company`s representation at key industry events and online
- Undertake research and present proposals for strategic business development projects aligned with regional growth strategy
