    Description

    The FirmI am currently supporting a US law firm in their search for a Legal Education and Development Coordinator to join their team in their London office on a permanent basis.

    The RoleThe role will assist the Associate Director of Legal Education and Development, providing dedicated day to day support alongside another Learning and Development Assistant.

    Go-to support system for the legal team, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

    Coordinating with colleagues across different offices to get approvals for spending, keeping tabs on training programs, and making sure the lawyers are up to date with their certifications and visas.

    Managing important dates, ie.

    when certificates or visas are about to expire, and then making sure everything gets renewed on time Help keep budget in check by tracking expenses and working with the US team to make sure everything's categorised correctly.

    On-boarding and Off-boarding of lawyers in the London office Involvement in compliance, ie.

    making sure attorneys stay on top of training requirements and handling any regulatory processes Assisting a hand with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiativesWhat Do You Need?Candidates must be bright, self-sufficient, proactive and willing to learn - this role involves communicating with partners and associates.

    Accuracy and attention to detail is crucial, as the role has a lot of system and data entry work. Experience in a similar role within a law firm.
