    Simon Acres Recruitment are delighted to be working on behalf of a Luxury Kitchen Retailer to find a Business Development Manager for their Contracts department.

    The aim of the role is to generate new business within the UK's Luxury Developments market, with a major focus on London and the surrounding area.

    In return our client is offering a starting salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 as well as a generous commission structure and company car or car allowance.


    The Role:

    • Selling Kitchens into the contracts market.
    • Prospecting, building, and developing new business.
    • Creating new business through cold calls and inbound warm leads.
    • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
    • Researching organisations, individuals, and specific projects to find new opportunities.
    • Managing existing customer relationships.
    • Increasing the value of current customers whilst attracting new ones.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Discussing promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
    • Working closely with housing and high-rise developers within the private market.
    • Building strong business relationships.
    • You will be required to travel to head office based in St Albans for Sales Meetings.

    Candidate Requirements:

    • Proven track record within field sales - selling kitchens into private developers.
    • Experience of dealing with Regional House Builders, Major Projects, House Building Contractors, and High-Rise Developers.
    • Sales Account Management experience.
    • A clear understanding of the market (London centric) and competitors.
    • Ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.
    • Strong network and relationships within the contract market.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a drive for success.
    • Ability to demonstrate a tenacious and resilient mindset.
    • Be able to manage time and priorities effectively.
    • Must hold a valid and clean driving licence.
    • Flexible with business travel requirements.
