    Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)

    The Opportunity
    This role sits within Craigmore Sustainables Financial Services (FinCo) an entity of Craigmore Sustainables Limited. You will be led by a well-established Finance Manager and join a team that supports multiple business units within the horticulture sector.

    Responding to queries and providing financial insights that allow operations to run more effectively will be your mandate.
    You will have an inquisitive mind to look behind the numbers so as to add value not only throughout the month but during the fast-paced month end. You will utilise your relationship building skills and build strong connections with key stakeholders and your attention to detail, analysis skills and ability to deliver key metrics around financial and operational data will second to none

    Craigmore Sustainables works with global capital partners on over 26,000ha of farm, orchard and forestry businesses across Aotearoa New Zealand. Established in 2009, our team manages over $1billion of assets and growing. Craigmore's aim is to be a long-term producer of high-quality food and forest products, managing the land sustainability, and building strong rural communities.

    Your Role
    • Delivery of the monthly management accounts and associated reporting
    • Providing individual business unit managers with variance analysis and commentary
    • Supporting business unit managers with queries, questions and ad-hoc projects
    • Developing and monitoring the budget and forecast performance for each business unit
    • Overseeing cash-flow and delivery of CAPEX reporting
    Your Profile
    • Preferably CA or CPA qualified
    • Experience in an end-to-end Management Accountant or Assistant Management accountant role
    • Exposure to working in a business with a large asset base / multiple entities or divisions is preferred
    • Strong user of Excel with the ability to model data and develop KPI / bench marking reports
    • Have experience working with an established / large ERP system
