    Early Help Navigator - Barnsley

    Are you a passionate, dedicatedEarly Help Navigatorlooking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are recruiting anEarly Help Navigator to join an Early Start and Families Team based in Barnsley.

    You will be required to help improve the lives and wellbeing of people with multiple needs, requiring support at an early help level.

    70 per hour

    Hours:
    Monday to Friday, 37 hrs/week – Hybrid

    Early Help Navigator role:
    Working in a multiagency context to help support people who experience complex needs presenting at a time of crisis (mental health needs, substance misuse, domestic violence etc.) , Help stepping into support and interventions to promote building their wellbeing, resilience, gain confidence and acquire the personal and social assets they need to meet their aspiration
    Plan exits to ensure on-going support from relevant services, building in aftercare and immediate access to services, in the event of relapse
    Work collaboratively and build trust with agencies, the individual and their personal and professional support network to collate all relevant information to co-produce individualised and flexible support plans
    Seek and respond to referrals from a variety of internal and external sources, pulling together intelligence and multi-agency meetings as required
    Complete and monitor agreed assessment tools and ensure it informs early help and prevention
    Accurately record and maintain progression, activity, outcomes and plans
    Manage a team of early help engagement workers to promote early help services and family hubs
    Contribute to delivery groups and multiagency meetings to contribute to system wide delivery planning to promote and achieve the objectives of the service
    A Level 4 in a relevant field or equivalent qualification alongside evidence that you haverelevant experience of working with children and families
    Experience of successfully delivering advice or support to vulnerable children, young people and their families aged SEND) in a voluntary, council, health or social care service setting
    Knowledge of services provided by Family Hubs and other agencies within the scope of early intervention and prevention
    Good understanding of child and family development
    Ability to travel across the locality to deliver services
    Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service
