    Location: Carrier Rentals Leyland, Wigan Road, Leyland, Lancashire, PR25 5XW UK, United Kingdom

    Contract type : Full time, Apprenticeship

    Duration of Apprenticeship : 3 years

    Carrier is currently recruiting for a Level 4 Sales Executive Apprentice based in the Haydock / Wigan / Leyland area. You will work between an office in Leyland and an office in Haydock.

    Carrier Rental Systems (part of the global Carrier Corporation) operate throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market-leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.

    What will you be doing?

    • Help grow the CRS business by proactively chasing all quotes, creating new sales opportunities by introducing CRS to target companies
    • Identify, develop and support new HVAC business opportunities and grow the sales in conjunction with our internal stakeholders
    • Management of enquiries from both existing and new clients
    • Work in conjunction with the current sales team to increase our market share and presence
    • Providing a high level of sales support by ensuring all enquiries are responded to in an efficient, professional, and timely manner
    • Raising quotations, contracts, and purchase orders
    • Communicating with the customer to ensure they are satisfied with the items they have on hire, PO management, other opportunities with the customer
    • Dealing with managing and resolving invoice queries
    • On-hire and off-hire documentation, processes, and procedures, including the allocation of equipment and the production and delivery of despatch notes.

    What we're looking for:

    • Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, and ICT OR another subject
    • Ideally have a level 3 qualification at either BTEC or A-Level
    • You will currently hold a valid driving licence
    • Someone who is keen to learn, ask questions and wants to be involved – bright and inquisitive with a hunger for learning
    • A keen interest in the HVAC sales industry
    • Confident and articulate
