    Description
    Field Engineer Position at Integrated Environmental Technology Group (IETG)

    Due to a growth in the business, we're looking for people to join us on a permanent basis as Field Engineers - part of a small team working nationally, installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers around the UK.

    Integrated Environmental Technology Group (IETG) provides market-leading environmental data collection and monitoring services.

    Established over 30 years ago, IETG gives their clients peace of mind by supporting them to reduce environmental risks and improve the quality of their natural environment.

    Our customers include large blue-chip consultancies and water companies.
    Work with teams on various wastewater and water projects around the UK & Ireland.
    # Install and maintain flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers.
    # Contribute to improving the environment by helping water companies manage their sewer networks.
    # Prevent flooding, reduce pollution, and improve the health of rivers and bathing waters.

    Flexibility towards hours and working away from home.
    Ability to work at night and some infrequent weekend work.
    Enjoy working outdoors and be comfortable working around raw sewage and in confined spaces.
    Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.
    Full training including confined space entry certification.
    ~ Competitive salary starting at £22,700 basic plus overtime and enhanced pay for night working.
    ~ 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays).

    Full training will be provided, so you don't need previous experience in the sector, however, a track record in a similar environment would be an advantage.

    You will need to get to Swillington for training.

    Due to the safety-critical nature of the work, successful applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing prior to start and on a spot-check basis during employment.
