Description

he Yard Creative is looking for an experienced Strategist to join our growing team and help to continue delivering excellent strategic work and recommendations.

You will also lead the research and strategy on smaller to medium-sized projects.

You will be willing to work across multiple projects with big brands, entrepreneurs, and start-ups, working in all sectors including lifestyle and consumer brands, FMCG, fin-tech, property, and retail.

You will be working alongside an integrated team of creatives who specialise in brand, digital and 3D design during the lifespan of a project.

Conduct competitive and category audits thoroughly, and tell what cultural truths might be relevant to the project
Present your thinking and analysis to the team to inform their creative work
Utilise social listening software (e.g. Meltwater) to translate digital chatter into actionable insights for clients
Social media analysis of brand and user-generated content
Help design, facilitate and lead creative workshops which shape brand strategies and fieldwork activities
Collaborate with other team members to flawlessly execute project deliverables
Support and create content for TYC channels (Newsletters, LinkedIn, Instagram & Website)

Identify, define and build strategic solutions to client briefs – from every aspect from the initial meeting through to presenting the findings 'so what's' and ultimately what the brand/strategic 'big idea' is.

Compile presentations to concisely tell the story of the strategy and prove to the client that this is the right direction of travel
When not working on client projects, generate our own insight pieces that we can take to market or clients to initiate new projects and write white papers on findings and future strategies
Curious about understanding people, brands and culture
Crafts consumer online surveys
Contributes to the creation of brand strategy and recommendations: brand positioning, purpose, pillars, values, mission
Enjoys turning qualitative (i.e. interviews) and quantitative data (data) into arguments
Loves all things digital/social
Conducts qualitative research (e.g. stakeholder and consumer interviews, focus groups)

A willingness to jump in and learn, and eventually lead in developing insights, identifying cultural trends, and running specific research projects that shape strategies for our clients and brands
A drive to share all that you know, have learnt and experienced thus far to understand, challenge and help grow our collective strategic offer, service and value we offer to our clients
2:1 or higher Bachelor's Degree
