    Job Title: Adult Health and Social Care Solicitor

    Location: Cardiff

    Employment Type: Temp to Perm

    Working Hours: :00 Monday to Friday With Hybrid working available

    Salary: 23.55 per hour Plus

    Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Solicitor to join our well-established client based in the Cardiff area.

    This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Public Sector company.

    Job Description:

    Undertake legal work and advise on legal matters such as adult protection and community care. Providing advice applications to court, preparing cases and interviewing witnesses. Undertaking legal work where necessary for the performance of teams functions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare statutory orders, undertake parliamentary work, and draft by-laws.
    • Prepare matters and papers for any form of legal proceedings and undertake any statutory or administrative task ordinarily required of Legal Services by the Council.
    • Deal with disputes and complaints.
    • Keep abreast of developments in the law and to advise through the Director of Governance and Legal Services from time to time on such matters as will impinge upon its functions.
    • Assist in the provision of a comprehensive legal service.
    • Assist in the training of staff and clients on legal issues.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
    • Hold current practising certificate
    • Experience and knowledge of work in Adult Care
    • Practical kowledge of public law
    • Good IT Skills
    • Able to work under pressure
