    Principle Product Assurance Engineer


    Salary:

    The role:

    A fantastic permanent opportunity has emerged to join the Force Protection & Area Protection Product Assurance team, dedicated to supporting projects in their development and production phases at Bristol.

    In this role, you'll assume a pivotal position within a seasoned team, focusing on ensuring the fulfilment of all essential Product Assurance activities.

    Additionally, there's the exciting prospect of collaborating with colleagues both domestically and internationally, particularly on projects involving the transfer of technology.

    This position offers unparalleled exposure to a diverse array of MBDA's functions and operations across all sites, presenting a unique opportunity to expand your network and understanding of the organisation.

    You'll be actively engaged in a multinational project, working alongside an established Quality network to prevent or minimise product non-conformance, facilitate smooth equipment delivery, guarantee the reliability of products in production, and continuously enhance customer satisfaction.


    What we're looking for:
    Desirable qualifications for this role include an HNC/HND in Engineering or Quality Assurance, or equivalent practical experience. It is advantageous to be proficient in current QA problem-solving and improvement methods such as 8D, RCA, DMAIC, etc.

    The ideal candidate should possess a high level of self-motivation, autonomy, and proactive work ethic, coupled with excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    They should also be adept at inspiring change and fostering a collaborative team environment, particularly within a matrix organisation structure.

    Strong analytical skills are essential, including the ability to generate and interpret reports using Excel, navigate the SAP QM system, and utilise document management tools effectively.

    Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a keen awareness of continuous improvement principles and display initiative in implementing enhancements.

    Additionally, the ability to understand and respect cultural differences is important, reflecting the multinational nature of the projects and teams involved.
