- Provide specialist advice, guidance and counsel to managers, supervisors and HR colleagues on all employee relations issues, policy interpretation and questions.
- Responding to employee issues and questions, providing feedback to managers to ensure appropriate action is taken where necessary.
- Take the lead on the updating of assigned HR policies to ensure compliance with best practice and any national guidelines as well as statutory changes.
- Work in collaboration with other HR colleagues, managers and employees, provide relevant ER expertise in the execution of any initiatives or projects to which the post holder is assigned.
- Fully CIPD qualified or working towards its completion.
- Confident in dealing with senior members of staff, utilising strong influencing skills at a senior level.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Specialist knowledge of employee relations to standard for providing advice in employee relations cases.
