    About the job

    This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to continue their event marketing career in a fast-paced global B2B media company that reaches the entire clean energy industry. This is an exciting role with the opportunity to develop your marketing skills further including but not limited to; partnership development, lead generation, analysis & reporting, social media and content marketing. Our diverse portfolio of global events brings together decision-makers throughout the clean energy value chain.

    You will play an integral part in the marketing team, working with all of them to help plan, coordinate, and execute our marketing plans to ensure our products reach the right people at the right time. You will be involved in the full marketing mix and learn everything from building emails to building out marketing plans and strategies to become a Marketing Manager within 12-18 months.

    You will report to the Marketing Director with your focus initially on external marketing. Understanding the market, finding the best partners to work with, and securing media partnerships. Then building out social media to help support the ongoing marketing event plans.

    About the Role

    As a Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for:

    • Conceiving and developing efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
    • Design, test, and implement successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our events and drive qualified leads to our sales team
    • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups
    • Craft clear event marketing copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, emails, websites, social media, etc.)
    • Run a gap analysis after marketing briefs
    • Come up with creative solutions to fill data gaps and optimize data-build projects
    • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
    • Analyse campaign performance, make recommendations, and implement improvements
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
    • Collaborate with our graphic designer to produce promotional materials
    • Perform research on current social media trend
    • Collaborate with other teams, like sales and production to optimise campaign success and ensure brand consistency
    • Communicate with social media followers, respond to queries on time, and monitor comments
    • Suggest and implement new social media features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
    • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in marketing, design tools, and applications

    To be successful, you will:

    • Have had some demonstrable experience in event marketing
    • Be a quick learner and able to pick up relatively complex systems and processes quickly
    • Have excellent time management and communication skills
    • Have a high degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, and administrative skills
    • Have 'high energy' and is enthusiastic
    • Be able to work effectively with people across the business
    • Have excellent negotiation skills
    • Be a team player and happy to help the team where necessary
    • Have a willingness to develop, learn, and take independent responsibility
