    We have a fantastic opportunity for a Manager in our Reconciliations team this is an on-site role based at our Mayfair, London offices.

    We are currently seeking a manager for our recently-established Reconciliations team. The selected individual will lead and engage directly in business-as-usual activities around reconciliations.

    A good understanding of the full trade lifecycle in traditional asset classes and the reconciliation of that activity is essential.

    Duties
    Help to configure and validate reconciliation processes
    Lead daily reconciliation of cash and trade transactions
    Ensure that any breaks are promptly identified and resolved
    Act as the counterpoint for cross departmental co-operation around reconciliation requirements
    Work closely with wider functions to address any discrepancies or issues
    Help to scope and produce regular reporting on reconciliation activities (discrepancies, resolutions, timelines etc.)
    Day to day management of Analyst level staff, including regular 1-to-1s, coaching and goals setting
    Engage with software vendors and IT to address system issues or enhancements
    Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
    Responsible for maintenance of reconciliation policies and procedures
    Ensure all processes adhere to legal/regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines
    Support the identification and management of service affecting incidents

    What we look for
    Extensive reconciliations experience from a cash or securities trading background
    Knowledge of Safeguarding / CASS and wider regulatory framework
    Familiarity with reconciliation software and platforms
    Demonstration of software / platform implementation experience would be highly beneficial
    Proficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships with a range of stakeholders
    A good level of Microsoft Excel and data management skills
    Possess excellent analytical skills, with ability to think independently and draw conclusions
    Learning mind-set and willingness to develop key skills and competencies
