- You will file VAT returns
- You will record VAT Transactions
- You will create VAT Invoices
- You will take responsibility for VAT Reconciliation
- You will be involved in data inputting into Sage and Xero
- You will adhere to tight deadlines and communicate these with Clients
- You will maintain effective and open communications with Clients
- You will respond to Ad Hoc VAT queries from Clients and staff
- You will perform general bookkeeping tasks and duties
- Part Qualified AAT or Qualified by Experience
- Experience of using Sage, Xero and QuickBooks software
- Experience of bookkeeping
- The ability to effectively prioritise your work
- To be professional, approachable and inquisitive
- The ability to demonstrate self-discipline and drive to achieve challenging deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Your role as Audit and Accounts Manager
In your role as a VAT Senior at Dains, you'll handle various aspects of VAT management and compliance. You'll also perform general bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records. You'll maintain transparent and efficient communications with a range of Clients.
