    Description

    Central Employment is delighted to announce its collaboration with a new client in the property industry, currently seeking to hire an Office and Finance Manager for their Hexham site.

    Ensuring data compliance, encompassing GDPR responsibilities, data entry into accounting software, and inputting data for budgetary purposes.
    Supervising payroll for wages.
    Overseeing year-end accounts, producing reports for accountants, and resolving any queries.
    Addressing general office inquiries and issues.
    Managing HR issues for the estate office and maintaining the estate staff holiday chart.
    Establishing and implementing office policies and procedures.
    Reconciling credit card statements.
    Conducting a range of computing tasks, including using Word, Excel, and other databases.
    Background in financial roles
    Qualification in accountancy/bookkeeping or equivalent relevant experience
    Previous experience with accountancy software
    Knowledge or experience in VAT management, including partial exemption and VAT account adjustments (desirable)
    Competitive salary is dependent on prior experience and skills base ranging from £28,000 – £32,000 per annum.

    Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm
