The purpose of this job is to provide a high quality, effective and customer focused housing management service to the residents in Extra Care Housing.
You will provide day to day management of staff within an Extra Care Scheme in line with agreed business objectives following policies and procedures and the Groups values to meet agreed targets for the growth of the business.
You'll provide, advice and assistance to customers and staff regarding housing management and extra care services. You will also be expected to lead on allocating properties working closely with local authorities and partner agencies.You'll lead on any safeguarding concerns that are reported through the appropriate channels and oversee building inspections which includes health and safety, fire risk and pull cord / handset checks, refuge areas and CCTV.
The post holder may on occasion be required to travel to other offices within the Group.You'll need experience of working effectively with colleagues, contractors, vulnerable tenants and their families / advocates to deliver high quality housing services.
You'll need basic ICT skills and the ability to communicate in writing to a good standard to provide performance related reports in regards to our housing service.
