    Communications & Engagements Officer (Permanent) - Glasgow, United Kingdom - With Kids

    Does talking to young people about their future ambitions excite you?

    If so, we have an exciting part-time (0.5 FTE), 12-month fixed term contract within our Scotland Communications andEngagement team where you will be responsible for delivering communications specifically for our Young Startfund.

    Young Start distributes money from dormant accounts on behalf of the Scottish Government to projects that are run forand by young people aged eight to 25.

    You will be part of the Communications and Engagement team responsible for telling the story of our Young Startfunding in Scotland to a variety of audiences.

    You will also provide communications support and advice to a recently established Young Start development team taskedwith ensuring that children and young people are better engaged with and centred in the work of the Young Startfunding programme.

    Interviewingyoung people behind the projects to produce content for media features, case studies and online social mediachannels
    Supporting our funding teams to deliver Young Start customer communications

    Supporting the Young Start team to deliver its work putting young people front and centre ofthe Young Start programme.

    You will be comfortable speaking to children and young people about the impact that the funding is making in theirlives and telling their stories with duty of care and a creative and engaging approach.

    An open, supportive and flexible team working approach is necessary.

    There can be occasional weekend and evening working to suit the needs of young people, but most of our work takesplace on weekdays in normal working hours.


    Location:
    This role is based in our Glasgow office, however we have a flexible, hybrid approach to working.

    3) Experience of producing and repurposing content for a variety of platforms such as press releases and social mediachannels
    4) Experience of building rapport with journalists and/or other stakeholders

    4) Experience of sharing skills, knowledge and creative ideas as part of a team.

    We are recruiting a Women's Domestic Abuse Community Worker to support women living in Glasgow's Northeast andNorthwest locality.
    It is essential that you have experience of working with women who have experienced gender-based abuse. A suitablequalification that meets with Scottish Social Services Council housing support registration is required.

    Thenature of our work requires a commitment to the feminist analysis of domestic abuse and to the values of HematGryffe Women's Aid.

    It is essential that you are bilingual and speak English and Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu.
    Glasgow office based with flexible working options. (MND Scotland is the only charity in Scotland dedicated to directly supporting people with MND, their families, andfriends.

    Since being founded over forty years ago, MND Scotland has provided practical, financial and emotional support toanyone affected by MND whilst also funding essential research into finding effective treatments and a cure.

    This role will be integral in supporting the diversification of our income streams andfocus on this important area of fundraising, creating more opportunities for giving across Scotland.

    The Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser role will support the Partnerships and Philanthropy Lead in developing andcultivating a portfolio of trust fundraising and will be central to the successful delivery of our ambitiousfundraising strategy.

    You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and producing high quality bids aswell as supporting with required reporting.

    Alongside this, you will play an active role in developing our supporter journeys and maintaining and utilisingfinancial and supporter data to improve and develop our fundraising offer.

    As an ambassador for MND Scotland, and a first point of contact for many supporters, you will be a confidentcommunicator with a passion for working with people throughout the community.

    You will be highly organised, andable to run projects on time and on budget.

    The Support Worker will:

    support,review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system, to achieve a positive person-centred outcomefor the people we work with in line with organisational, statutory and legislativerequirements.

    provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings, key work sessions, meetings, reviews andother internal/external meetings in conjunction with the person's support plan.

    provide general advocacyand advice to the people we support, including assistance to enable them to meet the conditions of theiroccupancy agreements.
