- Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the experimentation and continuous enhancement of delivery and management tools utilized by the team. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. Drive the adoption of best practices and standard procedures to optimize workflows.
- Problem Analysis and Support: Provide valuable support to the QA team during normal operations and service transition phases. Assist in problem analysis and troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Implementing processes, procedures, and metrics to drive continuous operational improvement and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Multi-location Server/Application Design and Operations: Oversee the design and operations of the hosted environment across multiple locations. Ensure the smooth functioning and optimal performance of servers and applications, addressing any operational challenges that may arise.
- Application Software Upgrades and Migrations: Lead the planning and execution of application software upgrades and migrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless transition to new versions or platforms.
- Application Configuration and Management: Manage the configuration and administration of applications. This includes maintaining application settings, optimizing performance, and ensuring proper integration with other systems.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor applications and related services, continuously assessing performance levels and promptly reporting any deviations. Use monitoring tools and techniques to proactively identify issues and initiate corrective actions.
- Quality Assurance: Actively participate in quality assurance activities by adhering to JAGGAER standards, practices, and policies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality products and services are delivered to clients.
- Problem Analysis and Resolution: Collaborate with department managers and internal teams to analyze and resolve technical issues in the hosted environment. Apply strong problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes, propose solutions, and implement necessary improvements.
- Service Delivery Best Practices: Propose methodologies and best practices to enhance service delivery and ensure outstanding customer experiences. Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of multi-tier, high-transaction web/internet applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious mindset.
- Proficiency in Git and experience working with it is essential for the role.
- Proven experience in scripting (Bash/Python).
- Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time.
- 2-4 years of experience with Linux systems.
- 1-2 years of experience with the PL/SQL language and relational DB models.
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience with web-based software is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience with AWS services is preferable.
- Good Java ecosystem knowledge, including the ability to read and understand Java code and exceptions.
- Have the right to work in the UK and willing to undergo a background check as this role will require National Security Vetting at Security Clearance (SC) level.
