    Our client is a successful banking firm with a strong global presence, offering a comprehensive range of services across corporate and investment banking activities.

    Act as a subject matter expert in Regulatory Affairs.

    Maintain an effective, professional and proactive relationship with UK regulators and assist the Local Compliance Officers in dealing with their regulators in the EMEA.Coordinate with/respond to Head Offices on information Arrange regulatory engagements such as meetings, teleconferences and visits.

    Prepare briefings and materials appropriate to meet regulatory expectations.
    Prepare committee papers and reports highlighting the key regulatory issues to senior management.

    Review consultation papers and policy statements from UK and EU regulators to ensure the requirements can be assessed correctly and implemented in a timely manner.

    Provide subject matter expertise support for the horizon scanning toolParticipate in other Compliance initiatives to share and expand knowledgeEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
    Considerable Experience of advising businesses on how to comply with laws, rules and regulationsIdeally experience in a regulatory affairs role or similarInvestigating potential or actual breach of relevant laws, rules and regulationsGood knowledge of Financial Services laws and regulationsFinancial markets and Banking activitiesFinancial market awareness and interest in current affairs (economic and political)For further information please contact Natalie Eshelby
