    Description
    Galvion designs, develops, and manufactures ballistic helmets and dynamic power and data management solutions for the modern battlefield.

    The objective of this position is to ensure daily warehouse and cycle count activities are safely and efficiently processed and provide guidance, coaching, mentoring, and remedial training for other employees.

    The Warehouse Team Lead would monitor and control warehouse and warehouse inventory by coordinating movement of product between locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.

    The Warehouse Team Lead would also b in charge of Material Handling and of inventory cycle count process, analyzing variance to confirm root causes and correctives actions.

    Assist the Materials Supervisor in planning for staffing the production/process areas.
    Assist the Materials Supervisor in the preparation of training materials and techniques to improve skills.
    Assist Materials Supervisor in managing inventory accurately through proper transactions and material movements.
    Assist the Materials Supervisor in the identification of training deficiencies.
    Provides daily instructions to Material Handlers on each shift.
    Coordinates product pickups by monitoring production to include loading and moving product.

    Ensures product is stored by designating storage areas, adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements and by updating location database.

    Verifies product inventory reports by comparing logs and reports; maintaining databases.
    Monitors inventory by completion of cycle counts as required.
    Keep warehouse areas neat and orderly.
    State the location of Material Safety Data Sheets, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid Kits, AED, Fire Exits.
    Account for team members during evacuations.
    Performance
    Accomplishes distribution and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
    Help drive team to focus on goals and targets and while achieving required results.
    Ensure warehouse and inventory documentation and data bases are timely, accurate and complete.

    Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfill operational and customer demand and meet set targets.

    ~ 2 years of related experience or training; Must have strong math skills and is capable of writing legibly.
    ~ Team player who is an organized planner with time management & reporting skills along with the ability to multi task in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
    ~ Occasional overtime and weekend work required.
    Experience leading teams with focus on quality, safety and delivery targets preferred
    Strong computer skills needed; specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
    Take ownership of the role, the equipment and the facility
