    About UsLiquidX Studio is a gaming development studio with the goal to produce an exciting open-world game called Pixelmon.

    We are based in Singapore and Malaysia with many of our team collaborating remotely from countries like New Zealand, Spain, Indonesia, and Brazil.

    With large backing from our recently raised funding round, we aim to create an entirely unique experience with immersive gameplay and extensive lore that will wow all gamers.

    The ChallengeYour creativity, expertise, and enthusiasm plays a key role in delivering our users with an immersive player-focused gaming experience.

    You will collaborate with team across the globe to design and iterate the systems, mechanics, and content that make up a resonant player experienceWhat You Can Expect To Work OnConceptualize, implement, and maintain gameplay systems that achieve a fulfilling flow state, addictive game loops, and a risk/reward balanceBe an active member of the development team using inclusive collaborative frameworks with diverse teams to decide on goals and establish the stories players want to tell within a given releaseCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation (such as design outlines, diagrams, and visual mockups) that details the triggers, interactions, and subsequent events of specific features or aspects of gameplayBe resourceful and solve problems using the tools and time/scope available to create unique and fun experiences for playersCollaborate with cross functional teams such as art, narrative, animation to ideate and delivery new player character designsHave an eye for improving process and efficiency to make life easier for the Design teamCollaborate with the Development team to create clear and concise design documents for feature implementationCommunicate the technical requirements and vision for design workflows and pipelinesRequirementsWhat You Need to

    Succeed Thoughtful Problem Solving:
    Build a structured approach for complex game systems that maintain game quality while minimising complexity Experience.

    4+ years of experience in professional game design experience Technical Abilities:

    Exposed with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent task tracking and collaborative environments Flexibility: Remain flexible in the changing priorities, while work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Benefits We Listen.
