We are seeking an experienced Scrub Practitioner with extensive knowledge to fill the position of Senior Theatre Practitioner at a leading Private Hospital based in Central London
This role offers a competitive annual salary of £45,000 - £50,000, along with the opportunity to work in a prestigious clinic renowned for its excellence in musculoskeletal care.
As the Senior Theatre Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the Spinal speciality and ensuring that the provision of nursing care and maintaining high clinical standards is met.
Participating in the advanced planning of all operating lists to ensure appropriate staff skills and equipment is available.
Utilising resources effectively using evidence-based best practice.
Contributing to the effective budget management of a departmental clinical area.
Assisting the Operating Rooms Manager in the business planning process, identifying specific issues.
Communicating with other wards and departments to ensure smooth running of lists

The ideal candidate for the Senior Theatre Practitioner role should have:
Current NMC registration in adult or general nursing or HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
In-depth experience and knowledge within the perioperative environment.
Excellent personal and communication skills.
Good facilitation, presentation, teaching and assessing skills.
Ability to critically analyse research and evidence-based practice.
