Health and Safety Advisor

Join an industry-leading main contractor based in Corby, specializing in the delivery of construction and steel frame schemes. With a reputation for excellence, we are currently embarking on a landmark project valued between £40,000,000 - £80,000,000.

To ensure the safety and success of this project, we are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor with a background in main contracting within the construction industry.

Implement and manage health and safety policies and procedures on-site in accordance with relevant legislation and industry best practices.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks, taking proactive measures to mitigate potential accidents or incidents.

Provide advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety matters, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and industry trends, incorporating new developments into our health and safety management systems.

Proven experience as a Health and Safety Advisor within the construction industry, preferably with a main contracting background.
NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Strong understanding of construction health and safety regulations and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to health and safety management.

Competitive salary ranging between £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
