- Upgrade and implement procedures to ensure steady storage, protection of data and adherence to compliance.
- Provide support and training to various engineers where required.
- Provide one-touch resolution for all types of incidents and levels of severity and escalating where necessary.
- Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality.
- Implement standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.
- Automate and improve everything you can - look for root causes and fix them
- Proactively look for risks and problems and subsequently fix them.
- Assist to build in compliance with process and policies.
- Diagnose and remove performance issues.
- Can work to ITIL best practices
- MUST have prior EMC NetWorker experience.
- Create a backup LLD, including backup schedules spec.
- Has both a solid understanding and prior experience working with Pure Storage, SAN, NAS, DataProtector and Tape Libraries.
- Experience in solution architecture would be advantageous.
