    Artemis Human Capital is working with this leading professional services company based in Belfast to hire a Finance Assistant.

    This is an exciting opportunity for an early career Finance Assistant to join a vibrant global professional services business and gain valuable experience as part of a dynamic finance function.

    Hybrid Working Great work culture Excellent exposure to a broad range of accounting activities 1 year contract Typical duties: Prepare and distribute intercompany invoices accurately and on time, ensuring all necessary checks are completed.

    Review invoices for accuracy and tax compliance. Process payment forms and update records accordingly. Manage intercompany billing emails and follow up on outstanding payments. Review and follow up on overdue interfirm balances. Maintain accounting files and reconcile VAT records monthly. Develop and maintain account reconciliations between ledgers. Monitor various accounts to ensure reconciliation at all times. Liaise with other Group accounting staff and provide training on processes. Assist with other tasks as needed, including audit-related tasks.


    Your experience:
    Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Dedicated to delivering excellence and meeting deadlines. Flexible and professional attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
