    Sustainability Lead / Manager - ESG Lead / Manager

    Are you passionate about sustainability and ready to make a significant impact in the construction industry? Our client, a renowned specialist construction main contractor with a global footprint, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sustainability Lead to join their team in Hull.

    With a commitment to quality and a forefront focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, this role offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change within a thriving organisation.

    As the Sustainability Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operations and corporate sustainability initiatives.

    Reporting directly to the Head of ESG and Sustainability, you will serve as a technical expert, leading internal and external stakeholders towards sustainable outcomes aligned with project requirements and corporate ESG strategy.

    This role offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic sustainability function that serves all business functions and needs.

    Serve as the key contact for assigned projects/teams, providing expert sustainability advice and guidance.
    Contribute to the development and delivery of internal environmental sustainability training.
    Monitor and report on site environmental and sustainability performance.
    Support project teams in achieving environmental compliance and delivering organizational KPIs.
    Facilitate building and project certification processes, including engagement with supply chain partners.
    Assist in developing and implementing corporate sustainability strategies and objectives.
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an environmental, social, or governance discipline.
    Experience in providing environmental and sustainability support to construction projects.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and construction management software.
    Valid driving license applicable to the region.
    Experience in conducting building certification assessments such as BREEAM or LEED.
    Familiarity with sustainability assessment and reporting tools/software.
    Travel nationally may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

    The role will report directly to the Head of ESG and indirectly to the operational area of the business.

    Competitive salary between £45,000 - £60,000 plus benefits package linked to the role grade.
