    We are developing our technology capabilities to meet these demands and have a number of opportunities for technology specialists to join our Data and Architecture consultancy capability.

    We are looking for technical consultants at various levels with expertise in the development and delivery of architectures help our clients implement effective solutions to deliver business value through technology.

    This role will be a key part of our Data and Architectures capability and will enable the right candidate to have a real impact on the development of our business in this area.

    WSP operate hybrid working and this role will include a mixture of time on customer site, in our offices, and will provide opportunities for working from home.

    Working with clients to help them make effective decisions about data, architectures, and technology.
    Planning and delivering technical work packages within a project or programme.
    Providing technical assurance of work done by implementation partners

    Acting as an architecture champion within our team to mentor colleagues and provide support and guidance across projects and bids.

    A keen interest in technology and data and in their impact on the world.
    Experience delivering complex technology projects in a role such as technical consultant, engineer, architect or analyst.
    Development of architectures in business, data, application, and technology domains
    Data solutions using, ideally using "big data", real-time data and/or unstructured data.
    Delivery management of software or systems integration projects
    Operational management of technology systems and middleware solutions

    Sound practical knowledge of methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, DevOps, TOGAF, Systems Engineering, ITIL, COBIT, Design Thinking and how they can be made to work in the real world.

    A degree in an engineering, computer science, applied mathematics or other technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
