Are you a Sustainability Consultant looking for a challenge in Bath?Buro Happold is looking for a Sustainability Consultant with wellbeing and sustainability design experience, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package plus a hybrid working pattern.

Key Duties:

Exuding passion and enthusiasm for the built environment to support human outcomes and fair distribution of value
Sustainability project and service support
Task leadership and direction / mentorship of more junior team members
Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence policy, corporate strategies and urban planning.
Providing written comments and producing reports and presentations with excellent visual and grammatical quality.
Working as part of multidisciplinary teams (including, but not limited to attending meetings with architects, planners, government agencies and clients)
Formulating external presentations for outreach and business development purposes.

Your Skills & Experience:

You will be a passionate sustainability practitioner with experience in the construction/built environment sector;you will ideally be able to demonstrate the following...

Experience in a comparable sustainability consulting role with a focus on the built environment;
Ideally some specialist knowledge in one or more of the following areas; Energy and Carbon; Building Performance; Natural Capital; Climate Resilience; External Environments; Health & Wellbeing; Social Value; Circular economy.
Ability to communicate in an effective and confident manner
Working knowledge of wellbeing and sustainable design techniques, analysis or modelling relevant to the construction industry or corporate strategies
Experience of undertaking technical analysis, and the development of suitable responsive strategies
Working knowledge of relevant UK policy and regulation (or equivalent)
Experience producing high quality graphical and written outputs
Experience in sustainability strategy development (buildings and/or masterplans)
Assessment system qualifications (e.g. LEED, BREEAM, WELL) and evidence of practical competence of their application.

It would also be advantageous if you could demonstrate the following...

Strong facilitation and team working skills and a drive to deliver outstanding results
