    Description

    Exciting Opportunity as Regional Security Manager

    Join our Operational Security Team, where you'll be responsible for keeping our people, buildings, and assets safe and secure. Collaborate with Estates colleagues to achieve outcomes, provide advice, and make informed decisions.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify, analyze, and respond to building security risks.
    • Undertake Level One Security Assurance for suppliers.
    • Work with the Business Partner to maximize security contract potential.
    • Produce and maintain security management documentation.
    • Conduct regular security assurance reviews.
    • Collaborate with external security providers for efficient delivery of physical security.
    • Lead operational security incidents in line with guidelines.
    • Initiate security operations and activities with internal and external partners.
    • Communicate security status and updates effectively.
    • Support emergency and contingency planning.
    • Develop contacts and networks for proactive security measures.
    • Provide expert advice on security provisions.
    • Raise and investigate operational security-related incident reports.
    • Chair After Action Reviews for incidents to identify lessons learned.

    Essential Criteria

    • Working knowledge of operational security.
    • Experience in supplier management and strong customer relationship skills.
    • Proven track record of delivering security services across complex sites.
    • Ability to analyze and resolve problems with innovative solutions.

    Desirable Criteria

    • Willingness to obtain additional qualifications within 2 years of appointment.
    • BTEC Level 5 in Security Management.
    • Contract Management Foundation Level.
    • Threat and Risk Analysis Training Pathway with NVQ Level 4 in Security Coordination and Design.
