    Having the skills and experience to be successful in a consultancy role requires confidence that what you promise to clients, can be delivered.

    This is why this role is a great opportunity for you as the supporting departments covering technical content and compliance checking are tried, tested and established which means that you can consult with the clients, manage expectations and be confident of delivery, leading to further opportunities and growth.

    Due to retirement, this role is available with an established Compliance consultancy firm which has many years' experience in this arena, with a very stable and yet, still growing, client base.

    The role centres around you managing existing relationships with member firms, and developing relationships with the Directors, Advisers, and operations staff of those businesses with the goal to ensure their compliance requirements and technical queries are met by the efforts of those at head office.

    Many of the clients have face to face relationships with their Compliance Consultant, as such, this role should be deemed predominantly face to face, with a few exceptions for online meetings.

    The ratio of how this is going forward is, in part, down to what you bring to the role. You may find some clients would benefit from more online meetings/consultancy, whereas others may require more hand holding.

    This is why this role will appeal to the right person as they can put their experience to use, without needless objections from a foundation of "we've always done it this way".Challenges you will face will include some clients resisting regulatory changes, same for technology which will make their lives easier and so you will need to identify any areas for improvement, be involved in ongoing T&C and throughout, build a strong relationship with the member firms.

    The firms are in various areas of the UK and this particular role would suit someone who is located in the Scotland/North England regions.

    Remuneration is in the region of £50k-£60k which is negotiable based on experience. Additional benefits include car allowance.
