    Description

    Director Asset Management in London, UK

    Our client, an independent infrastructure investment company, is looking for a Director Asset Management in London, UK.

    Role and Function

    1. Work with company's investment, operations and industry partner teams to provide day-to-day asset management oversight to our growing portfolio of infrastructure assets.
    2. Identify, develop, track and implement key initiatives, alongside company management teams and company's investment and industry partner teams, to deliver business plans and generate value through pro-active asset management.
    3. Work with company management and company's investment and industry partner teams to deliver key strategic initiatives (such as refinancings, material contract negotiations, regulatory reviews, follow-on acquisitions etc) at portfolio companies.
    4. Identify and mitigate key asset risks alongside company management teams.
    5. Implement, improve and monitor periodic reporting by investee companies and identify material deviations and actions required.
    6. Prepare and present regular updates and reporting on development of portfolio companies to company's management team.
    7. Work with company's operations team to provide accurate and timely reporting, including asset valuations, to investors.
    8. Collaborate with company's investment team on new transactions to develop acquisition business plans and 100 day plans.

    Candidate Profile

    Successful candidate will have previous experience with managing infrastructure assets and/or businesses in, for example, an infrastructure asset management function within an investment fund or within a corporate setting (e.g. controller or business development role). Experience working and building positive relationships with executive management teams. Understanding of legal, technical, regulatory and commercial issues and risks relating to infrastructure assets is beneficial. Knowledge of internal company reporting (internal accounting). Knowledge of investor reporting beneficial. Strong quantitative skills including experience with financial models. European languages.
